据美联社统计，这是詹姆斯22季生涯中第20个获得MVP选票的赛季。詹姆斯生涯仅有的两个无缘MVP选票的赛季就是最近的2022-23、2023-24赛季，本赛季40岁的詹姆斯强势回归，荣获MVP评选第六。
同时，这也是詹姆斯湖人生涯MVP排名第二高的赛季，仅次于2019-20赛季的第二。
这是詹姆斯生涯第二次位列MVP第六，上次是20年前的2005年。
